Stalkher (2018)

Stalkher was an assignment for my first-year Cell Phone Cinema class. The theme was a simple chase scene. When writing the script, I wanted to call attention to the paranoia felt by young women when “it’s not safe for young girls to be out alone.” Our protagonist is followed by a male stranger throughout the city streets and while her home is only a short distance away, we can feel her discomfort and familiarity with the scenario. Stalkher allows our heroine to confront her stalker, but there are many real-life cases where others in her shoes would not be so lucky.
